Red Class Newsletter 24.05.19

Dear Parents,

Well, what a half term we have had!  I can’t believe we will be going into our final half term after the holidays.  The children were an absolute dream at The Blue Planet Aquarium this week. I came back to school and told Mrs E straight away about how fantastic they were.  They really are a credit to you and I hope they all enjoyed themselves too.

Next half term we will be carrying on with the ‘Animal’ theme and the first couple of weeks will be ‘Under the Sea’.  We also have an ‘Active Week’ planned, sports day, Milldale trip and summer performance and lots more!  There will be days I’m not in as I am starting my ‘New Starter’ meetings and visits but the smooth running of Red class will continue at all times.

Reading – please keep up with the reading over the holidays.  Share lots of books together and enjoy!

Spellings- are being tested today but you will not receive any new ones.  Your children need a well deserved break.

Home Learning – Well done to everyone who has carried out these activities.  I will send the last home learning sheet out after the holidays.

P.E kits – everything will have been returned to you by tonight.  Please check you don’t have any other children’s belongings and that everything is still named and fits please.
