Young Voices

Well done to all the lovely Young Voices singers who have headed off to Manchester this afternoon – Have a super time singing in such a huge arena and particular thanks to Mrs Cliff for organising it all and Mrs Swallow and Mrs Boughey for helping with this super annual event.

Learning Time

Learning time is vital but we also know that social time is important too. We have quite a large number of children who now arrive slightly after 8.50a.m. This is causing them to be slow to settle and vital social and learning time to be lost. Please ensure your child arrives on time for school every day.

Holiday Club

We are considering running a Pips run holiday club for one week at Easter and for four weeks over the summer holidays. Katherine our Pips manager is asking parents to complete an online survey to help us to gauge interest. Please click here:

https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/PPNJ6TZ

to complete it and share with friends and family who also may be interested in a primary school aged holiday club.

Well Done Lead Learners

Congratulations this week go to both Mrs Hadfield and Mrs Newman for setting the example by continuing to learn every day. Mrs Hadfield has recently passed her exams to be a yoga instructor and her exams to be a Key Stage One writing moderator. This means she will be sharing her understanding of writing in Year 2 with Pear Tree staff and at other schools as well as teaching Year 3 and leading yoga for pupils and staff. Mrs Newman has also spent many hours on training and writing assignments and is now also a level 3 Forest School teacher. This has been hours of hard work and study for them both and we are really fortunate to have such dedicated staff as part of our team!

Parents’ Evening

Next week is Parents’ Evening on both Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th and Star Day is the following week on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th.
