Red Class Newsletter 30.06.18

Date: 30th Jun 2018 @ 4:56pm

Dear Parents,

What a hot week it has been! Thanks for sending children in sun cream and with plenty of water.  Don’t think they haven’t drunk much because we have been constantly filling up their bottles throughout the day!  Our activities have continued in the heat, but we have ensured they have had plenty of shade and water play to keep them as cool as possible.  Apparently they have all been paddling in the water trays today!

This week, we have been writing on the front of our reports and drawing our self-portraits, writing sentences, recognising and using coins in a variety of ways, practising forming numerals and writing riddles.

Next week we are looking at the book ‘Mister Seahorse’.  We will be creating a piece of seahorse art work using a range of mixed media, writing facts about seahorse’s, counting seahorses, solving number problems, practising for sports day and lots more too.

Please wear PE kits on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday next week please.  But on Thursday they need their River family t-shirt on please.

Sports Day is 9:30am – all welcome!

Have a lovely weekend
