Red Class Newsletter

Well, what a week! The children have had a busy time learning about the frog lifecycle and have produced a lovely page in their learning journal. Lot’s of reading has taken place and thought I would pass on the lovely comment from Grandma “The children are making such good progress with their reading, they all read wonderfully today!” Keep up with the reading at home, as it really does help!

Unfortunately what with Ofsted coming in this week, my Forest school training has had to be postponed. But I promise when I do complete it in the Autumn term, I will pinch the children back and do some ‘real’ forest school activities with them.

This week Mrs Yeomans and the team have been busy making a piece of artwork for skoolsfest. The theme is ‘New Beginnings’ and the class have all helped to produce it. This should be displayed somewhere in Nantwich Town, I think the museum but I will let you all know when I know for definite.

Mrs Costa (a wonderful teaching assistant) is in Red class today talking to the children all about Buddhism. See if they tell you anything about it later.

Over the holidays – please keep up with the reading BUT the children well and truly deserve a rest. They have worked so hard this half term.

Next half term, we will be learning about caterpillars, spiders and other creepy crawlies. The children are going to have the best last half term of Red class ever!

Enjoy the break,

Mrs Newman and Red team
