Red class newsletter 20.07.18

Date: 20th Jul 2018 @ 10:21am

Dear Parents,
Well, this is my final newsletter I am writing to you all (how sad is that?)

The year has flown by and the children have grown, developed and learned so much.  They have been an absolute cracking class this year and we are going to miss them a lot!  Looking back over the 'My Learning Book' reminds me of where they were and where they have got to.  Things like, lining up, getting changed for P.E, talking in a group, finding their way around school.  To independent little people, reading, writing sentences or even stories and answering a range of math's questions.  I couldn't be prouder!  Seeing them at Milldale yesterday working in different groups and 'getting along' just fine without me (melts my heart).

I want to say a huge thank you to the support you as parents have given us this year.  Not only with home work and reading, but with the amount of adults who have been in to help.  We really couldn't do the job without you and what a difference it has made.  They are a lucky bunch to have supportive parents like you.

Due to Milldale yesterday, we have changed books today.  The children have also had a fun music session with Mrs Minshall!

Next week - last few days
Performance is on Monday and Tuesday and then Wednesday just being the last day.

If I don't get to speak or see any of you, then I wish you a fabulous summer holiday with your family.  I can't wait to spend time with mine.  We have a holiday abroad, a few days camping and generally having lots of fun.  BUT we are sending home a set of books to help your child keep up with their reading over the summer holidays, as 5 weeks is a long time not to pick up a book.  Please return these in September.
