Red Class Newsletter 06.07.18

Date: 6th Jul 2018 @ 12:19pm

Dear Parents,
Another hot week this week.  The children are coping really well considering!  Please ensure you continue to sun cream before school (no sun cream to be put in bags), bring plenty of water and a sun hat.  We have been setting up lots of shady play areas but they still need a hat.

We have been busy learning all about 'Seahorse's' this week.  We have written facts about them, made a stunning piece of art work (which will be on the front cover of this term's Learning Journal) and math's work around seahorse's too.

Sports Day - this was a huge success and everyone seemed to have a fabulous time.  Red class were amazing - I don't think people realise how much they have learned when you see them taking part in a race, staying in their own lanes, following instructions and having the best time!  I had the best day too!!

Next week -
Forest school on Monday
P.E on Tuesday
Barnaby Bear concert on Thursday at 2pm.  All welcome and after you are invited to stay and have a drink and a biscuit before home.

We will also being doing lots of reading, writing, maths and other sea based activities.

The following week is curriculum enrichment week - so you will be hearing more about that soon.

Enjoy your weekend and the sunshine
