Orange Class News - 17th June 2016

Date: 16th Jun 2016 @ 9:28pm

Friday 17th May 2016

What a busy week!  We have all completed our little ‘quizzes’ and are looking forward to getting back to our normal routine.   You will receive details about your child’s outcome with their report.

This week we have been exploring length and height.  We have been measuring objects, ourselves and how far we can jump.  In English we have been continuing to enjoy our new story ‘The Enchanted Wood’, making predictions and continuing the story in our own words.  We have also been finding out about the different parts of a plant, learning about continents and oceans and putting the finishing touches to our class artwork, ready for it to be delivered to Nantwich Museum next week.

Sports Week

Next week is Sports Week.  The children will be bringing their PE kits home at the end of the day and should wear them to school every day next week.

Orange Class start swimming next Friday (24th June) for 4 weeks.  We still need one more adult helper.  If you are able to come with us for 4 Fridays from 12.45pm – 3.00pm please let me know asap.

Oops! It appears that the Schoolsfest slips didn’t get sent home this week.  Apologies for any confusion this may have caused.  Please check reading diaries for them tonight (Friday).  Only 2 weeks to go!

Have a good weekend and we look forward to seeing you on Monday for a very ‘active’ week.
