21st February 2016

Dear Children, Parents and Carers,

I hope you have all had good break and that everyone has recovered from any illnesses. Following the Scarlet Fever outbreak the school has been sanitised and thoroughly cleaned ready for the children’s return on Tuesday.  All diaries were collected in and reading folders have been cleaned or tatty ones replaced. Most PE/outdoor kits were taken home for cleaning.  Any kits left in school have been washed ready for the new term.

PE – this is still Tuesdays or Wednesdays so please make sure full kit is in on Tuesday.

Outdoor learning days this half term are Wednesday 24th February and Wednesday 9th March.  Please make sure children are dressed appropriately and have waterproofs and suitable footwear.

We are celebrating World Book Day on Wednesday 2nd March.  Yellow Class theme is dragons, castles, knights, kings and queens. I look forward to seeing you all dressed up!

Beeston – Wednesday 23rd March. If you have not yet returned the letter/payment yet, please can you contact the office asap.

After a few recent conversations with parents about the Key Stage 1 Assessments that the children will be completing in May, I have arranged a Key Stage 1 SATs Meeting for TUESDAY 1st MARCH at 6.30pm.  This will be a great opportunity to discuss how we are preparing the children and the important role you play in supporting them at home. It would be great to see you there.

Please catch me at drop-off, collection or email if you need to contact me.
