Home learning Thursday 21st April

Dear all,

Another busy week comes to an end. Thank you for all the homework received last week and please bear with me as I catch up on marking it all J. This week’s homework is on MyMaths concentrating on addition and subtraction.

Next week I have the privilege of taking Blue Class to Conwy with Mr Sykes and Mrs Maumy so Ms Hennessy Jones is looking forward to teaching Indigo. I know she has lots of lovely activities planned for them including art, I know they will love it!

Indigo are really enjoying being introduced to King Lear; what a dramatic bunch they are! Mrs Swan and I have a meeting on Wednesday at the Royal Exchange so further details will follow after that.

Brass continues on a Tuesday with Mr Eccles. He is still a man on a mission to get all 31 children practising each week. I think the highest number we got to last term was 24, let’s see if we can beat it! Don’t forget to write in their journal once they’ve practised J

Mrs Minshall is back on Thursday and this time we will be learning to play the ukulele. I wonder who will be a budding George Formby? If they would like some additional homework they could Google famous ukulele players.

Friday is ‘bring a flower to school day’ as we celebrate Buddhism Day. Further details are on the school website.

Have a fabulous week.

Kind regards,

Ruth Hadfield
