Home learning Friday 20th May

Dear all,

In class this week we have finished telling the rather sad story of King Lear, happily though it means we can now get stuck into our performance area of The Storm. In order to make a start on this please can you get your child to learn and perform these lines:

When we our betters see bearing our woes,

We scarcely think our miseries our foes

Who alone suffers, suffers most i’th’mind,

Leaving free things and happy shows behind.

The weight of this sad time we must obey.

Speak what we feel not what we ought to say.

The oldest hath borne most. We that are young

Shall never see so much, nor live so long.

It would be really helpful if they could know this for Monday so that we can start practising with a vengeance.

In addition to this I will put some videos on Edmodo to do with percentages plus a quiz for them to complete too.

Indigo Class are currently in the lead on the Run2Rio completing the most laps in recent weeks. Well done to everyone, including parents, who have really entered into the spirit of this J

Keep practising those brass instruments at the weekend and after school it really does pay dividends in class. Let me know how often they’ve practised for as well.

Have a lovely weekend,

Ruth Hadfield
