Home learning Friday 12th February

Dear all,

It was lovely to see so many of you at the meeting last night about the residential to York. I have emailed you a copy of the PowerPoint if you were unable to make it. If you have any questions or concerns then please just ask. If you have not had chance to fill in the Form C yet it would be really helpful if I could have them by this evening so they can be photocopied in readiness for the first week back. All staff are looking forward to a really successful trip J

All week we’ve had the times table challenge going on in class that Indigo Class have really risen to. There have been some big improvements to scores over the week so well done to all your children. They know which times tables they are still struggling with so half term would be a really great time to keep going over them.

Home learning over the holiday is to continue with the research project on York and I’m looking forward to looking at them on the first Tuesday back. There are still some children who haven’t presented their Viking boats to the class, I haven’t forgotten we just keep running out of time!

We’re keeping all reading books in school over half term so they can be cleaned along with journals too so you might like to visit the library over the holiday to try out some new authors.

Have a restful and healthy half term,

Kind regards,

Ruth Hadfield
