Home learning Friday 10th June

Dear all,

Well it’s been a busy old week practising for our King Lear performance. Can I just say a massive thank you for all your help, your children have helped to create a fabulous performance and I am so pleased with how well they’ve learned their lines, taken stage direction, made changes and been all round good sports last week. I am very much looking forward to watching them on Tuesday and I’m sure you are too.

Ms Hennessy Jones has set some home learning this term and the children were given a list of 50 things to do such as climbing a tree, making a sand angel etc. I’ve asked the children to post photos on Edmodo so I can see their antics. My aim is to have a go at as many of them as possible too. Watch this space…

This will be a very busy term with sports days, end of term performances, and lots of learning too. I am very keen that the children still complete their home learning tasks so I have put some percentages work on MyMaths for them to complete over the weekend. This is an important term for Y5 as they get ready to be Y6 in September and I am very pleased to tell you that I will be teaching the class again in Y6. I’m really excited at the prospect of taking them on their Pear Tree journey J

On Friday 24th June Indigo Class have been invited to Millfields School for a mini sports day with other Y5/6 classes from schools in Nantwich. Are any of you free to join us that afternoon?

Yesterday I emailed an itinerary for the arrangements for Monday and Tuesday next week. If you missed the email here they are again.
