If in doubt see: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/threadworms/ A pharmacist will be able to advise you further and supply you with the medication required to kill these unpleasant visitors.

There are parents living near you who are finding life overwhelming making it difficult to support the children they love so much.  Just 3 hours a week can make a difference to parents under pressure.  Our volunteers spend time visiting families, sharing parenting skills, talking, listening, playing with children, enjoying outings and in turn enabling families to cope.

Join Home-Start as a home visiting volunteer - you’ll get so much back.  Volunteering builds confidence, gives a sense of purpose, enables you to meet new people, looks great on your CV and can create more fun in your life!

Pear Tree School Games 2019

We have had a busy couple of weeks with sports.  Our Year 5&6 football squad played a round robin of games against local schools and came 2nd.  Which means they have made it through to the next round, playing for the Trophy!  This is on Friday at Nantwich Town and we wish them the best of luck.

On Tuesday, Orange class spent the morning at South Cheshire College taking part in a range of early infant agility skills.  Throwing, aiming, jumping and running activities with other local schools.  Their behaviour was exemplary and they all enjoyed themselves!

Today (Thursday) the Year 5&6 Basketball squad are taking part in a tournament held at BLHS.  Good luck team!

On Monday we are taking part in a Year 5&6 Dodgeball competition at Malbank.  Keep throwing and dodging Newts!

Sportshall Athletics – In P.E sessions over the last couple of weeks Key Stage 2 have been having trials for this competition.  Our teachers and sports coach are just finalising names and letters will be handed out for training and competition date and times.

Indigo Class have all been given training on becoming a ‘Play Leader’ and now have set lunchtimes where they set up games to play with children in other year groups.  Mrs Newman and Mrs Boughey went shopping and have purchased lots of new and exciting play equipment to use.

Coming up – trials and competition for Year 5&6 gymnastics
